In a shallow bowl, add sugar for rimming your glass. Brush one side with lime juice or dip it in, then press into the sugar and set aside.
Fill a shaker tin or mason jar with ice. Add all ingredients, seal, and shake vigorously for 20–25 seconds.
Fill your prepared glass with fresh ice and strain the margarita over top.
Garnish with a lime wedge, cranberries, or a sprig of rosemary — or skip the garnish if you’re keeping it simple. Serve immediately.
