  1. Build the base

  2. 3-4 tbsp vegetable/rapeseed oil

  3. 1 tsp cumin seeds

  4. 5 green cardamoms

  5. 2 inches of cinnamon stick

  6. 1 large onion (finely chopped)

  7. 1 tbsp ginger

  8. 1 tbsp garlic paste

  9. 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder

  10. 1 tsp turmeric powder

  11. 2 tbsp coriander powder

  12. 1 tsp cumin powder

  13. 100ml warm water

  14. Finish

  15. 100ml double cream

  16. 1 tbsp butter

  17. 1 tsp Kasuri methi (crushed)

  18. Sliced ginger

  19. Chopped coriander leaves

  20. 1 tsp Sugar or honey (optional, for balance)
