Start by taking a bowl and combining the 80g of oat flakes with 100g of raisins, 80g of chopped walnuts, 100g of chopped dried apricots, and the mashed banana. Mix these ingredients together to create a delightful mixture.
Take a tray and line it with baking paper. Place a 25 x 15 cm form on the tray, then spread the mixture evenly into it, using a spatula to smooth it out.
Preheat your oven to 180°C and bake the mixture in the tray for about 20 minutes. This will give your energy bars a deliciously golden and crispy texture.
While your bars are baking, it’s time to prepare the sugar-free chocolate glaze. In a bowl, add 160g of dark chocolate without sugar and melt it either in the microwave or using a steamer. Once it’s melted, stir in a teaspoon of vegetable oil until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
When the oatmeal mixture is done baking, remove it from the mold. Now, cover it generously with the melted sugar-free chocolate. To allow the chocolate to set, place your bars in the fridge for approximately 40 minutes.
Finally, it’s time to enjoy your healthy energy bars made from oatmeal, raisins, nuts, apricots, and bananas. Savor each bite knowing that you’ve created a nutritious and delicious snack without the guilt of added sugar.
