Apple Bourbon Baked Beans
  1. Fry the burger in a large skillet and season with your favorite beef seasoning.

  2. Fry up the bacon until crispy then remove from the pan. Chop the bacon into bite size pieces then set aside.

  3. Cook the diced onions and diced green bell peppers in the bacon fat for 5 minutes over medium heat until softened. Add the minced garlic in and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. Peel and cube the green apples

  5. Add the butter in a skillet and let it melt. Add the cubed apples and let it cook for 8-10 mins over medium heat.

  6. Once the apples are soft, add the bourbon and let it cook down. Add the brown sugar and cinnamon then mix thoroughly and let it cook for 3-4 minutes until it becomes sticky.

  7. Combine all of the ingredients in a durch oven or foil pad then mix thoroughly.

  8. Place the dutch oven on the smoker at 225°F for 45 minutes. Stir every 10-15 minutes

  9. Once beans are softened, serve them up warm.
