Ham + Cheese Hot Pockets
  1. Combine dry ingredients: flour, salt, sugar, and yeast

  2. Add warm water and oil. Mix until it becomes a rough dough

  3. Knead for 8 minutes or stand mix for 5 minutes until smooth

  4. Cover for 1 to 1.5 hours until dough rises and doubles in size

  5. Divide into 12 balls and rest for 10 minutes before filling

  6. Flatten or roll each dough ball to about 4 inches across

  7. Add ham and cheddar to each dough ball. Close and pinch to seal; place seam-side down

  8. Cut tiny slits to vent

  9. Brush with butter, salt, and poppy seeds

  10. Bake at 425°F for 15-18 minutes until golden
