Preheat an oven to 350 degrees and grease a 8x8 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and fruit cocktail with liquid. Mix cake batter well.
Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until edges are browned, and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let stand to cool a bit.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
