Honey Butter Toast
  1. Start by pre-heating your oven to 180c/350f. Also line a large baking tray with baking paper, leave this aside.

  2. In a large bowl, add the softened butter, brown sugar, honey, vanilla and salt. Beat all this together for about 2 minutes.

  3. Spread a thin layer of this mixture onto your bread slices. Make sure to cover each side of the slices, including the edges.

  4. Place these onto your baking paper lined tray, then bake in your pre-heated oven for 15 minutes.

  5. After 15 minutes, take them out and flip them over. Then place them back into your oven for 5-10 minutes, or until they're a light caramel colour.

  6. Take them out of the oven, then leave them on the tray for 5 minutes to cool down.

  7. After 5 minutes, they will still be very soft. Transfer them to a wire rack, then leave them to cool until the outside hardens. This should take about 10-15 minutes.

  8. Once the outside is crispy, they are ready. Enjoy!
