Homemade Fresh Peach Sauce Recipe
  1. You can skin the peaches before or after you cook them. Cut them in half and remove the pit. Cover the bottom of a deep-sided pan with about 1 inch of water. Add the peaches and allow to simmer over medium heat until softened, approximately 20 minutes. You don't want to boil them.

  2. Peaches are too fibrous to pass through a sieve so add them to a blender, food processor, or stick immersion blender. Process them until smooth.

  3. Return them to the heat and add lemon juice and sugar. Heat until sugar is dissolved, approximately 10 minutes.
