Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth.
Add the fresh lemon juice and lemon zest to the mixture and stir well.
Pour the batter into a greased pie dish or individual ramekins.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
