Best Burger Buns
  1. Combine yeast, warm water, sugar. Let it sit for 5 mins.

  2. Add melted butter or oil, egg, salt, and 3 cups of flour.

  3. If dough seems wet, add more flour 1 tablespoon at a time.

  4. Knead for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Rise for 1-2 hours, until doubled in size.

  6. Divide into 6-8 balls, shape into buns, rise again for 30 mins.

  7. (6 will make a standard size bun, 8 will make them a bit smaller)

  8. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sesame seeds.

  9. Bake at 375°F for 12-15 mins.
