  1. Grind the beef steak into beef mince or use pre made mince.

  2. Salt and pepper the mince generously and add a good sprinkle of dried herbs.

  3. Take small handfuls of the mixture and roll in to meatballs.

  4. Once you have made all the meatballs, brown them off on the stove in an oven proof pan.

  5. Once the meatballs have browned remove from the pan and add tomato passata into the same pan.

  6. Add a sprinkle of dried herbs and let it come to a simmer and then add the meatballs back in.

  7. Place in the oven for 20 mins or until bubbling and the meatballs are cooked through.

  8. Remove from the oven and add the mozzarella and basil to the top as generously as you wish and place back into the oven until melted and golden.

  9. Remove from the oven and serve with spaghetti and lots of Parmesan
