Cranberry Chicken Goat Cheese Wreath
  1. Preheat oven to 425F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

  2. Roll the pastry out slightly on a floured surface and place a large dinner plate on it

  3. Trace a circle around the plate and remove the excess dough

  4. Move the pastry round to the prepared baking sheet

  5. Press a small bowl down lightly in the center of the circle

  6. Using a sharp knife, cut 4 cuts into the center circle

  7. Spread the cranberry sauce around the perimeter of the wreath

  8. Dot the goat cheese on top of the cranberry sauce

  9. Add the shredded chicken on top

  10. Season with salt and pepper

  11. Sprinkle with the fresh herb

  12. Fold each triangle over the filling and press firmly with your fingers to secure along the outer side until the wreath is formed

  13. Brush with egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tbls water)

  14. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
