Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and stir with a wooden spoon until blended.
Using a ¼-cup measuring cup, scoop the mixture and form into ¼ inch-thick (.64-cm) patties.
Heat a small non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Cook the patties until crusty, brown and no longer pink in the center, about 3 minutes per side.
Reduce the heat if the sausage patties begin to brown too quickly.
To freeze, arrange the patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze until solid.
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 months.
To cook from frozen, cook over medium-low heat, flipping occasionally until no longer pink in the center (a digital thermometer should read 165°F/73°C) when inserted in the center), 10–12 minutes.
