Homemade Soft Pretzels
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt and flour until a shaggy dough forms.

  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 24-inch rope.

  5. Shape the ropes into pretzels and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. In a shallow bowl, mix together the baking soda and 2 cups of water. Dip each pretzel into the baking soda solution, allowing any excess to drip off.

  7. Place the pretzels back on the baking sheet. Brush the tops with the egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt.

  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
