Measure out 4 cups of whole milk.
Add ½ cup of white sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Heat the milk, sugar, and vanilla on medium heat, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved.
In a separate bowl, make a paste with 6 oz of warm water and 6 tablespoons of Masa, making sure there are no clumps.
Add the Masa paste to the milk and sugar mixture, continuing to stir to prevent burning.
Cook for about 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until the desired thickness is achieved.
If desired, add a sprinkle of cinnamon.
