Wash your rice until the water runs clear. Season your salmon pieces with salt + pepper.
Add your normal amount of water for cooking rice and top with salmon pieces.
Cook your rice on your normal setting.
When the rice is done cooking, break apart the salmon pieces and add soy sauce, sugar, furikake, sesame oil, salt, pepper and green onions to the rice cooker. Mix everything together well so the rice is well seasoned.
You can serve salmon rice in a bowl like sushi bake with seaweed, avocado, and cucumber on the side or make onigiri for the kids like I did!
