Prepare Gyro Dogs
Combine all ingredients. Mix thoroughly until sticky.
Divide into 8 portions. Form each into a 7-inch log.
Refrigerate at least 4 hours, or overnight.
Prepare Glaze
Stir together. Set aside.
Prepare Garlic Sauce
Combine ingredients. Thin with water as needed. Refrigerate.
Cook Gyro Dogs
Prepare grill for medium-high heat.
Grill gyro dogs for 8 minutes, turning every 2 minutes.
Brush with glaze, turning and brushing each side for 30 seconds until glaze is gone and meat is cooked through.
Assemble
Sauce buns. Place gyro dogs in buns.
Add sliced tomatoes between bun and gyro dog. Top with more garlic sauce.
Finish with red onions and cucumbers.
