In a bowl, add the melted butter. Mix in the milk powder, icing sugar, and salt until smooth.
Add the flour and bring everything together into a soft dough.
Tip the dough onto your work surface and shape it into a log. This requires a bit of patience, it might crumble and fall apart at first, but as you shape it, it will stay together.
Wrap it in cling film carefully, and freeze for about 30 minutes.
Slice into 0.7–1 cm thick biscuits (cut them slightly thick) and place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
Preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes.
Bake the biscuits at 180°C for 11-13 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
Cool completely before serving — best enjoyed with a hot cup of chai!
