Mint Julep Recipe
  1. Combine water, sugar, and chopped mint in a saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Let syrup cool, then strain and discard mint.

  4. Fill julep cups with crushed ice.

  5. Pour in bourbon and 1–2 tbsp of mint syrup.
