Brown your sausage
Sauté your onion and fennel
Add in crushed fennel seeds
Add in as much garlic as you like
Add in red pepper flakes
Add in your tomato paste and let that caramelize
Stir with the rest
Add in your white wine, chicken broth and your uncooked rigatoni
Let that simmer, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and has soaked up all of that flavor
Finish it off with a splash of cream
Let that simmer to thicken
Add in some Dijon
Add in your cooked sausage, Parmesan and lemon zest
Stir everything together
Add in your fresh parsley
Make sure it doesn't need any more salt or pepper before serving
