    Adobo sauce can be made by blending a whole 7 ounce can of chipotle peppers in adobo; use as directed and freeze the rest.

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Squeeze the tofu lightly over the sink to release some water and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk the marinade ingredients together.

  4. Into the marinade, crumble the tofu with your fingers and then hand-toss the tofu crumbles to coat.

  5. Bake for 30-35 min, without stirring, until the edges are crispy.
