  1. Cut the head of broccoli into medium sized florets, add the florets into a colander, rinse under cold running water for 1 to 2 minutes, then add the florets into a discloth, making sure they´re all in a single layer and gently pat dry

  2. Heat a large fry pan with a medium-high heat

  3. After 4 minutes and the pan is hot, add in 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil and the florets of broccoli, mix together so the florets are evenly coated in the olive oil, than place them in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes without mixing

  4. After 2 minutes flip the florets to cook the other side, once again you want them in a single layer

  5. After a total cooking time of 4 minutes, add in 4 cloves garlic roughly minced and mix together, 30 seconds later add in ¼ cup vegetable broth and season with sea salt & black pepper, place a lid on the pan and lower the heat to a low-medium

  6. After 4 minutes remove the lid, all the broth should be absorbed by the broccoli and the broccoli perfectly cooked, you can always pierce the broccoli with a toothpick, if it easily goes in, it´s ready to go, remove the pan from the heat

  7. Transfer the broccoli into a serving dish and garnish with lemon wedges, enjoy!
