Chestnut Pasta
  1. Boil the chestnuts

  2. In their shells

  3. In lots of water for about 40 minutes. Then

  4. While still hot

  5. Cut them in half and scoop out the meat. Mince the chestnut meat. Put that chestnut meat

  6. Along with 4 cups of water

  7. And a pinch of salt

  8. In a pasta pot. Bring to a boil

  9. Then add the spaghetti and boil until al dente. If too dry

  10. Add a tiny bit of boiling water. Serve topped with a drizzle of olive oil and freshly ground black pepper.
