Place the cream cheese in a mixer bowl and beat until creamy.
Add the sour cream and beat until combined.
Add the powdered sugar, lemon juice and vanilla extract to the mix and beat until well combined.
Optionally, for a thinner dip, add in some heavy cream or vanilla yogurt beginning with ¼ cup until desired consistency is reached.
Spread the cheesecake dip in a shallow pan such as a 9 inch pie plate or shallow baking dish.
Pour the cherry pie filling over the cheesecake dip.
Serve with graham crackers for dipping.
