In a medium sauce pan, bring sugar, butter, milk, salt and cocoa to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 75 seconds (no longer!!) and remove from heat.
To the hot mixture, add oats, peanut butter, and vanilla. Stir well to combine.
Drop by the spoonful on the parchment paper or wax paper and let harden (they’re also real yum a little hot and melty).
