Fancy Pide (Turkish Flatbread)
  1. Put the flour in a bowl, make a well in the center, add the water, milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

  2. Then add the salt to the edges of the flour and knead.

  3. After the dough comes together, add the vegetable oil and knead until the dough is smooth.

  4. Cover it tightly to prevent air from entering and let it rise until it doubles in size.

  5. Take the risen dough onto your work surface and gather it with a little flour.

  6. Lightly flour your work surface and roll out the dough with a rolling pin. It shouldn't be too thin or too thick.

  7. Cut out circles from the rolled-out dough using a lid (about 20 cm in diameter).

  8. Combine the remaining dough scraps, form them into a ball again, and roll them out again, repeating the same process.

  9. Finely chop the vegetables (or even grate the onion). Add all of them to the minced meat and mix.

  10. Add a spoonful of the filling to each dough piece, spread it with your fingertips, and add cheese on top.

  11. Preheat your oven. There's no need for rising time.

  12. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius in a fan-assisted oven on the middle rack until golden brown.
