Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl.
Slice the tofu into thin strips using either a sharp knife, mandolin, or cheese slicer.
Dip each tofu strip in the marinade and coat thoroughly. Let the excess drip off.
Preheat oven to 375 F / 190 C.
Line a large baking sheet either with parchment paper or a wire rack. After dipping tofu slices, add to the baking sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes and flip. Bake for another 15 - 25 minutes, checking every 10 minutes or so to make sure you don't burn them.
If you start to see any blackened edges, that's a good sign to pull them out. Don't worry if they aren't super crispy at this point. They will crisp up as they cool, so let them rest for a few minutes before digging in!
Spray the Air Fryer basket or tray with a little oil. Add as many slices of tofu bacon as possible without them overlapping.
Air fry at 375 F / 190 C for 6 minutes. Flip and Air Fry for another 6 minutes or until crispy. Keep an eye on them to make sure they don't burn! They will crisp up more as they cool, so let them cool for a few minutes before digging in!
Slice the tofu thin. Spray with some cooking oil, and Air Fry at 375 for about 8 - 10 minutes or until they are browned and crispy.
Make a simplified Marinade with 1 Tbsp Vegan Mayo, 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce, ½ tsp Liquid Smoke, 1 Tbsp Vegan Worcestershire, 1 tsp Sriracha, 1 tsp MSG or Salt to taste.
Dip the air fried tofu slices in the marinade and cover thoroughly. Add back to the Air Fryer and continue to Air Fry for 2 - 3 minutes, keep an eye on them so they don't burn.
