  1. To make the rosti, cook the whole potatoes in a saucepan of salted boiling water for 10 minutes. They should still be a little firm. Drain and let cool, then grate the potatoes and place in a bowl.

  2. Add the egg, chopped onion and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine, then form patties (you can use a biscuit cutter to shape).

  3. Spray the airfryer basket with oil, place the patties in the basket and cook for 20 minutes at 180°C (350°F), turning halfway through the cooking time.

  4. To make the meatballs, combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Form six balls and place in the airfryer basket.

  5. Cook for 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F), turning halfway through the cooking time.

  6. Serve the meatballs and rosti with the pasta sauce, heated if desired, and rice if using.
