Restaurant-style Chicken Tikka Masala
  1. Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, lemon juice, salt, garam masala powder, roasted cumin powder, yogurt and red food color (optional) for 30 minutes.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until done.

  3. In another pan, heat oil and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.

  4. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

  5. Add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, garam masala and dry fenugreek leaves. Cook for 5-7 minutes.

  6. Add the cooked chicken and fresh cream. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  7. Add water and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

  8. Garnish with white butter before serving.
