In a large pan or skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
Add the trimmed green beans, chopped onions, and minced garlic to the hot pan. Sauté and stir occasionally for about 4 minutes until the beans are bright green and slightly tender.
While the beans cook, mix coconut aminos, soy sauce, coconut sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne (if using) in a small bowl until combined.
Pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over the green beans. Sauté for 2 more minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened and coats the beans in a glossy glaze.
Transfer to a serving bowl and toss with organic sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot!
