  1. Grate the squash and remove as much liquid as possible.

  3. Add the squash to the flour mixture and mix.

  4. Add the baking powder and mix until the batter is nice and thick.

  5. Drop a spoonful of the batter in hot oil and let it fry for about 5 minutes.

  6. Serve hot.
