Lemon Bread and Butter Pudding
  1. Preheat your oven to 180ºC.

  2. Weigh all the ingredients apart from the bread in a small ovenproof dish.

  3. Mix until you have a smooth custard.

  4. Chop the bread into small squares and add them to the custard mixture.

  5. Ensure the bread is fully covered in custard.

  6. Sprinkle demerara sugar if using and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and firm.

  7. Serve with cream, ice cream, or custard. Enjoy!
