Use about half the can of peanuts because the food processor likes to do about 2 lbs at a time.
Add 1 teaspoon of kosher salt per pound of peanuts.
Turn on the food processor and let it run for a couple more minutes until the peanut butter reaches the desired texture.
The smoother you make the peanut butter, the thinner it will be.
Store the peanut butter in an airtight container, it will last about 2 weeks on the countertop and about a month in the refrigerator.
