Butter Sticks
  1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. Heat margarine in 9 x 13 x 2 inches pan.

  3. Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes.

  4. Gently smooth dough into ball on floured cloth-covered board.

  5. Knead 5 times.

  6. Roll dough into rectangle, 10 x 6 inches.

  7. Cut lengthwise into halves; cut each half into 12 ¾-inch sticks.

  8. Roll each stick in margarine in pan.

  9. Bake until light brown, 12 to 15 minutes.

  10. Serve immediately.
