  6. Arrange them in a varied stack for even cooking.

  7. Lightly spray the chips with avocado oil spray.

  8. You may need to cook the tortilla chips in a couple of batches for optimal crispiness. Typically, two batches suffice for most air fryers.

  9. Close the air fryer drawer and set the temperature to 400°F for 4 minutes.

  10. After 4 minutes, open the drawer and rearrange the chips for even air circulation.

  11. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Generally, 7 minutes should achieve perfect crispness, but adjust according to your preference.

  12. Listen for the chips to start jumping as they near completion.

  13. Sprinkle the freshly cooked chips with sea salt immediately.
