Add the sliced apples, ¼ cup water, cinnamon and nutmeg to the Instant Pot. Cook for 20 minutes on high pressure.
Release the pressure and remove the lid.
Switch to the sauté function on the Instant Pot and allow the apples too cook for an additional 5 minutes with the lid off. Stir constantly.
Blend the apples with an immersion blender.
