Baked French Toast
  1. Line 9x13” pan with foil. Spray foil with cooking spray.

  2. Cube bread and layer half in half.

  3. Cut the cream cheese into small pieces and scatter them across the bread. Cover with the remaining bread cubes.

  4. Mix the eggs, Half and half and syrup and melted butter together. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes.

  5. Press the bread cubes down to absorb the mixture.

  6. Refrigerate overnight.

  7. In the morning, cover pan and bake for 40 minutes. Uncover, and then continue baking for 20 minutes.

  8. Serve with syrup, jam or powdered sugar.
