Preheat oven to 375*
In a large bowl cream crisco and sugar thoroughly with an electric mixer.
Add eggs and then molasses. Mix until incorporated.
Sift dry ingredients and blend into mixture - alternating with the sour cream.
Roll a tsp size portion into a ball in your hands and roll in reserved sugar to coat.
Place ball on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 12 - 15 minutes.
