Smoked Over The Top Chili
  1. Dice the onion and green bell pepper

  2. Cook the pepper and onion in a large Dutch over medium high heat for 5-7 minutes.

  3. Add 1 chili seasoning packet, beer, green chilies, minced garlic, tomatoes, tomato sauce and beans.

  4. Add the ground beef to a bowl then pour in ¼ cup of Bachan’s Original and ½ chili packet seasoning

  5. Mix until fully combined then form the meat into an oval shape and place on a wire rack.

  6. Place the Dutch oven on the smoker and the wire rack on top of the Dutch oven.

  7. Smoke it at 250F until the meat reaches an internal temp of 165F.

  8. Break the meat up into bite size pieces then add it to the Dutch oven and mix until combined.

  9. Let it simmer for 30 minutes

  10. Serve it a bowl with sour cream, cheddar cheese, jalapeño slices and a side of fries.
