Salted Maple Mini Pies
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.

  2. Roll out pie crust and cut 4-inch circles. Press each one gently into the muffin cups.

  3. In a saucepan, melt butter with brown sugar and maple syrup over medium heat. Stir until smooth.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Whisk in eggs, vanilla, salt, and cream until blended.

  5. Pour filling into prepared crusts, filling each about three-quarters full.

  6. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, until filling is set and crusts are golden.

  7. Cool for 10 minutes, then sprinkle with sea salt before serving.
