Preheat oven to 400F.
In a baking dish, add eggplant and tomatoes in an even layer; toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Roast until tender, about 25 minutes.
Use the back of a spoon to lightly crush the tomatoes and stir it all together with basil and cooked pasta.
Top with marinara sauce and cheeses and return to oven for another 20 minutes (you can broil for the last 3-5 minutes to get desired browning on top.).
Garnish with more torn basil.
