  1. Mash banana and whisk with sugar, oil, milk, and vanilla.

  2. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt over wet mix. Fold gently.

  3. Coat walnuts with flour and fold into batter.

  4. Transfer batter to a lined 6-inch cake pan.

  5. Preheat air fryer at 180°C (356°F) for 3–5 mins, bake for 20 mins.

  6. Cover with foil and bake 5–8 mins until skewer comes out clean.

  7. Cool in pan 3–4 mins, then transfer to rack and slice.
