Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a food processor, pulse the drained and rinsed butter beans until they are mashed but still have some texture.
Transfer the mashed beans to a bowl and stir in the flour, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Scoop the mixture by the tablespoonful and roll into small balls or tot shapes.
Place the tater tots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
