Apple Pie Candied Bacon
  1. Preheat Smoker to 350F

  2. In a bowl, combine Apple Pie Filling, Vanilla Extract, & Cinnamon together and mix well to combine. Use a fork or potato masher to break up the apple pieces into very small bits.

  3. Lay out bacon strips on wire rack close to each other, but taking care to make sure they are not touching

  4. Brush a liberal coat of the apple pie mixture on the bacon

  5. Place into preheated smoker for 30-35 minutes. Check at 20 minutes to make sure nothing is starting to burn

  6. Remove from smoker and allow to rest/cool for 10 mins - this will also allow it to firm / harden up also.
