In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter or oil, lemon juice, and vanilla until well blended.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
