Slow Cooker Amish Corn Chowder (amish Snow Day Soup)
  1. Add corn, onion, potatoes, broth, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika to the slow cooker.

  2. Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours until potatoes are tender.

  3. Melt butter, stir in flour, and cook for 1–2 minutes.

  4. Slowly whisk in cream until smooth.

  5. Stir cream mixture into the slow cooker.

  6. Add bacon and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes.

  7. Serve hot and garnish with parsley if desired.
