Garlic-parmesan Melting Cabbage
  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Prepare the Cabbage: Cut the cabbage into thick wedges (about 1.5 inches thick) and arrange them in a greased baking dish.

  3. Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the minced garlic and brush this mixture over the cabbage wedges.

  4. Pour the Cream & Broth: In the baking dish, pour the heavy cream and chicken (or vegetable) broth around the cabbage.

  5. Season Generously: Sprinkle the cabbage with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes.

  6. Bake First Round: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

  7. Add the Cheese & Crisp Topping: Remove the foil, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs over the cabbage.

  8. Finish Baking: Return to the oven and bake uncovered for another 20–25 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender and golden brown on top.

  9. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
