Put a stick of butter in a 9x13 casserole pan and put it in the oven at 350° until the butter is melted.
While the oven is warming and the butter is melting, sift the flour, baking powder and sugar into a mixing bowl. Mix well.
Add a cup of milk, a teaspoon of vanilla, and salt.
Mix until we'll combined. The batter will be watery.
Remove the casselore pan with melted butter out of the oven and pour the batter into the pan. Do not stir. Let the butter sit on the edges.
For the fruit filling, mix 1 tsp cinnamon and mix.
Add the fruit filling on top of the casserole. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 mins until top is golden.
Serve with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
