Smoking A Turkey On A Gas Grill
  1. Dry brine the turkey beforehand.

  2. Fill the smoker tube with wood pellets using a wide-mouth funnel.

  3. Light the pellets with a torch.

  4. Place the turkey on one side of the grill with a sheet pan underneath to catch drippings.

  5. Place the smoker tube on the other side of the grill.

  6. Close the grill lid and let the tube heat up the grill's interior.

  7. Maintain a grill temperature of 325 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  8. Rotate the turkey and baste it every hour.

  9. Check the internal temperature of the turkey; it should reach 162 to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

  10. Let the turkey rest for at least 30 minutes before serving.
