Spray the crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.
Prepare the cake mix according to the package directions using the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil.
Pour the cake batter into the crockpot.
Prepare the pudding according to the package directions.
Drop spoonfuls of the pudding over the cake batter.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours.
For an extra-chocolatey dessert, gently crumble or break up some of the cake and sprinkle additional chocolate chips over the top. Cook for a few more minutes, just until the chocolate chips are melted. Optional: serve with ice cream.
